Class - September 21,
2010 Give an everlasting gift to yourself. Learn the basic principles and concepts of Science of Mind and most importantly how to apply them in your life, therefore CHANGE YOUR LIFE. Rev. The Religious Science Foundational Class is the primary course of study in the Science of Mind philosophy offered by United Church of Religious Science. It can be followed by secondary-level classes offered as continued spiritual development. If you are interested in Science of Mind or like what Namasté offers, this class is the place to start! The Foundational Class, taught by Rev. Kristin Hawkins, will meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:45pm to 9:45pm in our Center in Long Beach. Body Connection - To Be

If you've taken the Foundational Class, and want to deepen your personal spiritual practices, including meditation and Prayer Treatment, then this class is for you! During this 10 week credentialed class, you will experience a large and diverse number of ways to create your own path of regular Spiritual Practice. You will also advance your use of prayer treatment, and learn how to treat for other people. Treatment and Meditation, taught by Rev. the Roots of Science of Mind -
To Be Announced
If you've taken the Foundational Class, and are ready to expand your personal experience of the principles of Science of Mind, then this class is for you! The roots of
Science of Mind run deep and wide, through the religions, philosophies,
literature, legend, and science of humankind. During this class
you will explore the writings and ideas of three giants in the early
New Thought Movement...
Through each of their works you will gain unique insights into the nature of God, man, and the Creative Process approached from the intellectual, feeling, and mystical perspective. The Roots Class
will meet Thursday evenings from 6:45pm to 9:45pm
in our Center in
Long Beach. The class, taught by Johanne Bourgeois, RScP, runs
for 15 weeks and is open to all who have completed
the Foundational Class. The cost of the

| Practitioner
Studies I - "Living the Principles"
- October 7th, 2010
The first year of the Professional Practitioner Studies is devoted to advancing spiritual awareness and expanding the student's understanding of his/her relation to the universe. The year's study is designed to be complete within itself, preparing the student to live more fully, whether or not she/he chooses to continue with Practitioner II Studies, and to apply for licensing as a Professional Practitioner. This 30 week class is divided into three terms of 10 weeks each:

| Practitioner
Studies II - "Professional
Practitioner Training" - October,
2011
Year II of Practitioner studies is for those students who have successfully
completed Prac I. Prac II focuses on building the skills and consciousness
needed to be a licensed Professional Practitioner of Religious Science.
Included in the course of study is class time, some weekend counseling
workshops, and in-service requirements throughout the year. Rev. Kristin
Hawkins and Johanne Bourgeois will facilitate this class. Tuition for
Prac II is $545.00. There will be other costs associated with licensing
requirements as well. |

Self Mastery - September 20th, 2010
"The Self-Mastery class focuses on healing the perceived separation between personality and Spirit. Through an active exploration of the creative nature of thoughts and feelings, beliefs and emotions, the students have an opportunity to gain mastery in the art of living as a conscious, intentional being." Tuition is $160 and Rev. Sunshine Daye is the facilitator for this Monday night, 8 week class. It will meet from 6:45-9:45pm at Namasté. |

Principles of Successful Living -
To Be Announced "Principles
of Successful Living" could be called "Demonstrating Successful
Living"!
This
class is designed to give us a greater understanding of our place
in the Spiritual System and the part that consciousness plays in demonstrating
our greater good.
On
a very practical basis, students set intentions for concrete demonstrations
of good and then together we use consciousness building tools to achieve
those intentions. Emphasis is given to the use of Law, mental equivalents,
spiritual mind treatment and the qualities of living a spiritual life. The
class is interactive and very personally relevant.
This
8 week class is facilitated by Rev. Kristin and the cost is $160.
Class will meet from 6:45-9:30pm and
Foundational
Class is a prerequisite.

| The
Essential Ernest -
to be announced Ernest Holmes (1887-1960) was an internationally renowned teacher of religious psychology, a beloved scholar, mystic, and prolific author, who founded the entire Religious Science movement of Practitioners, Ministers, churches, and teaching centers. He believed in a religion that was hopeful, practical, democratic, and all-encompassing, and built around a practice of prayer in which one ―prays the answer instead of the problem.‖ The Essential Ernest Holmes is the first UCRS course to delve into all of Ernest‘s writings, feasting on his quiet, devotional writings as well as his impassioned, chalk-in-hand teachings to future leaders. His love of people and facility for seeing past their problems into the heart of their eternal being anticipates modern psychology, while relating the human condition to a limitless ability to choose what to think and how to feel. His ear for poetry and his profound mystical vision merge in the Farer‘s quest toward The Voice Celestial. In the collection called The Holmes Papers, he clarifies fine points of Religious Science teaching, relates its (and his own) fascinating history, and traces New Thought ideals back through the centuries to humankind‘s earliest religious sentiments. Be prepared for animated discussion on some fairly controversial material on topics like addictions and sexuality, plus deliberately provocative questions for class discussions, taken from some occasions where Ernest seemed to contradict himself.
Foundational Class is a pre-requisite for this class.
Tuition is $220 and Rev. Kristin is
the facilitator for this 10 week class.

Visioning – To Be Announced Visioning
is the practice of opening to God as you. It is “catching” the Divine
Idea for your possibilities and it allows you to transcend limited thinking
and to align with Divine Wisdom. Visioning is a form of co-creation
to expand life’s potential. It is the natural outgrowth of maturing
in God consciousness and is about becoming, not about doing— it is about
the “What,” not the “How.”
During
this 8 week class you will learn the process of visioning, and have
an opportunity to practice in many areas of life … your life purpose,
life’s work, health and well being and prosperity.
Visioning,
taught by Rev. Sunshine Daye, will meet on Monday evening from 6:45
to 9:45 at our Center in Long Beach. The class runs 8 weeks.
